Located at 15216 Antelo Place, Bel-Air, Los Angeles, CA; at one time, actress Farrah Fawcett lived next door at 15220 Antelo Place; she sold this house in 1999. Chamberlain was an early professional basketball superstar, playing center for the independent Harlem Globetrotters (1958–1959), Philadelphia/San Francisco Warriors (1959–1965), Philadelphia 76ers (1965–1968) and Los Angeles Lakers (1968–1973) of the National Basketball Association; he also served as player/coach for the American Basketball League's San Diego Conquistadors (1973–1974).
This house, the site of Wilt Chamberlain's circular bed, was on the market in 2008 for $8,950,000. Because it did not sell, the asking price had been dropped from $11.5 million (in 2007).
