The country club opened 04/04/1925; the golf course on the site was designed by designer, John Duncan Dunn; in 1953, three investors, included the tennis great, Jack Kramer, bought the club and remodeled and expanded it; the ranch house of Chino's founder, Richard Gird, served as the first clubhouse for Los Serranos; the club has two golf courses, the North and South Courses, the latter opened in 1964;
