Building History

The Bank of Napa Headquarters #1 was the first known design by the influential, English-born architect John Parkinson (1861-1935), who worked in Northern and Southern CA, and Seattle, WA.

Building Notes

John Parkinson did business with the Bank of Napa in 1890, when he took out a loan with it to buy two properties. (See "Mortgages," Daily Alta California, vol. 83, no. 92, 09/30/1890, p. 7.)
