Building Notes
The house cost $14.30 per square foot, including $3,000 for the lot for a total of $23,500; foundations cost 6% of the total cost; in this same tract, there was a four bedroom model similar to this in plan that sold for $25,000; this was an unusual example of a tract house employing a "bi-nuclear" plan popularized by William W. Wurster and others in California before W.W. II; Marcel Breuer is often credited with the term "bi-nuclear" after the war.
