Located one hundred feet above the Verde River Valley; the chapel is reached from Sedona, AZ, by taking 179 south and proceeding to Chapel Road where you go left and drive to the end of the road; Yavapai County, AZ;

Marguerite Staude designed and donated the chapel to the Roman Catholic Church in memory of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lucien Brunswig; Staude, an architect, had worked with Frank Lloyd Wright; a crucifixion figure in wrought iron was designed by the San Francisco sculptor, Keith Monroe;

Received an Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects, 1957; this commission was highly published and widely admired.
