The architectural firm of Knorr-Elliott and Associates designed the Dux Incorporated US headquarters, while the noted Seattle landscape architect, Rich Haag, laid out the grounds. Haag had formerly lived in the Bay Area and worked for the firm of landscape giant, Lawrence Halprin (1916-2009).
Dux Incorporated was a notable producer of primarily Swedish-made furniture in the 1950s and 1960s; designers working for Dux at this time included Folke Ohlsson and Alf Svensson.
