Aurora Avenue was formerly known as "Woodland Park Avenue."

The Arabian Theatre changed ownership and became known as Bruen's Arabian Theater (c. 1930) and Lukan's Arabian Theater, c. 1932. The Arabian Theatre later became the "I Am" Church, and served in this capacity c. 2005.

The theatre originally seated 769. On 12/06/1929, the Phinney Unit of the Seattle Music and Art Foundation used the Arabian Theatre for a concert. This group was headed by the prominent businessman A.S. Kerry, who would commission a Modern residence designed by architect Paul Thiry (1904-1993). At this time, the Arabian Theatre's address was 7610 Woodland Park Avenue. (See "Unit Plans Concert," Seattle Times, 12/05/1929, p. 22.)
