Westwood Boulevard and Broxton Avenue;

This landmark building in Westwood Village, originally housed the Janss Investment Company, the developers of the entire Westwood Village area; the building was distinguished by its colorful terra cotta dome, ornamented in a Moorish Zigzag pattern; the dome, like the two towers of nearby movie theatres, beckoned to drivers along Wilshire Boulevard in the early automobile age; the architects, Allison and Allison, were early designers of the many of the first buildings at UCLA, located just north on Westwood Boulevard. The dome also located the major three-way intersection of Westwood Boulevard, Kinross Avenue and Broxton Avenue.
