Overview

In early 1925, the Southwest Builder and Contractor reported on plans for the new Hotel Padre: "Architect Charles F. Whittelsey prepares plans for an will finance a reinforced concrete hotel at 1955 Cahuenga, to be known as the Hotel Padre; 8 stories, $150,000."
