The Columbia Theatre #1 was located on the west side of Powell Street between Eddy and Ellis Streets.

Building History

From at least 1896 until 1898, Friedlander, Gottlob and Company were the lessees and managers of the Columbia Theatre #1, located on the west side of Powell Street between Eddy and Ellis Streets.(See Crocker-Langley Directory Company's San Francisco, California, City Directory, 1899, p. 1863.)

Alteration

A fire occurred at the Columbia Theatre #1 in 1898.
