Los Angeles architect H. Carroll Brown (1861-1920) designed the Griffith Block in the early 1890s.
Architect Norman F. Marsh (1871-1955) redesigned four storefronts at the Griffith Block in 1910; at the same time, he also designed the First Methodist Church in Azusa, CA; Architect Robert H. Orr (1873-1964) supervised the remodeling of the Griffith Block's first floor to include a drugstore in mid-1920.
