The Southwest Builder and Contractor reported on 08/28/1936 that the Los Angeles architect Clifford Balch had prepared plans for the Lido Theatre, located at the intersection of West Pico Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard.
There were several theatres in Southern California known as the Lido, including Riverside and Newport Beach.
Demolished after the Mann Theatre chain sold the property to the Bank of America which tore it down for a parking lot;
