Buidling History
The Lido Theatre opened in 10/27/1939. The Griffith Company had this 60 foot by 119 foot, 750-seat theatre built.
The Edwards Cinemas chain, which went bankrupt, owned the Lido in recent years. In 2005, the Laemmle Theatres chain acted as the booking agent for the Lido.
Alteration
The Lido was refurbished in recent years, and remained, in 2005, as a rare, single-screen atmospheric theatre in Los Angeles;
