located two miles southwest of Vacaville on Interstate 80; Lagoon Valley/Pena Adobe Regional Park is located on Pena Adobe Road off Interstate 80;

The Pena House was restored in 1965; it was originally part of a 44,000-acre rancho that operated near Vacaville; the adobe now houses a museum in Lagoon Valley/Pena Adobe Regional Park.

A wood-frame addition was made to the house in the 1870s; this addition was re-positioned to the side as a separate building;
