The Southwest Contractor and Manufacturer noted in its 08/15/1914 issue that O.M. Warner had drawn up plans for this "frame school building."

Built by Congregation Talmud Torah as its original synagogue, this building served mostly as a school and chapel between 1915-1996;

Alterations were made in 1918, 1922 (building was turned 90 degrees on the lot), 1927, and 1930;
