Overview

The San Jose architectural firm, Binder and Curtis, designed this 1,178-seat venue for the T and D (Turner and Danhken) Theatre Company.

Building History

The Theatre De Luxe became the first California Theatre; in 1927, with the building of the second California Theatre in San Jose, CA, this facility became known as the Fox Mission Theatre; its vertical sign was moved to new California venue in 1927.

Demolition

The Theatre De Luxe was razed in 1953.
