Building Notes
Dion Neutra said of the Oxley House in 2000: "This charming little house overlooking the ocean was built in 1958 for a professor and his wife near the campus of UCSD. A few years ago it was purchased by owners for the sole purpose of demolishing it for its site. They proceeded to vandalize the building, removing the spider legs and part of an overhang, boarding up windows, and generally stripping it of its charm and appeal."
