Designed in 1964 and erected in 1965; Ellwood designed the Kubly House for a five-person family; compared to the contemporary Moore House, (Los Angeles, CA), the Kubly House cost more ($45,000 vs. $35,000)and contained more square footage (2150 vs. 1700);
