This mixed-use development was part of the Birch Street Redevelopment of downtown Brea, CA; 12,300-square feet commercial space occupied the ground floor, while 24 loft-style apartments, each with 750 square feet of space, lined the upper floors; the project was completed on a tight budget of $65 a square foot;
