Plans were altered between July and December of 1909, increasing the number of floors of the building from six to nine; the whole ninth floor was to be leased to the University Club of Los Angeles; the building was to be 120 feet high, and extend for 150 feet on Hill Street and 126 feet on 6th Street. The Consolidated Realty Building was Albright's biggest commission in Los Angeles, CA.
