Built for Mrs. Clara B. Burdette and P.M. Johnson, the Barker Brothers store measured 110 x 150 feet and was seven-stories tall; it stood next to the Z.L. Parmalee Building at 718-720 South Broadway; it was leased for ten years to the Barker Brothers Company.
