Standing on the corner of West 3rd Street and South Thomas Street, the Founders Building, a 70-foot tall, five-story office block was for many years the highest building on the Pomona skyline. In c. 2013, some of the ground floor retail space was occupied by Pho Vi Vietnamese Cuisine Restaurant, while the basement provided room for the Southern California Artists (SCA) non-profit gallery and exhibition space for the Latino Art Museum. Arteco Partners and Jeved Management, Incorporated, maintained offices on the top floor.

There has been some disagreement on the construction date of the Founders Building. Various sources (including Emporis.com), indicate it to have been 1913; a web site for building management firm Jeved Management, Incorporated, stated it to have been 1922. (See "Properties,"Accessed 07/09/2014.)

According to the property manager, Jeved Management, Incorporated, "An incremental renovation of the building was completed in 2002 with the conversion of two floors of office space into...work-live loft units." (See "Properties,"Accessed 07/09/2014.) In 2013, the building contained 12 lofts, 4 offices, 2 (first-floor) commercial storefronts, 2 basement galleries, and 1 (first-floor) restaurant.
