"16.52.2110 Opdahl House. A. Pursuant to the provisions of chapter 2.63 and with the recommendation of the planning commission, the city council designates the following building as a historic landmark in the city: Opdahl House. The Opdahl House is located at 5576 Vesuvian Walk, Long Beach. B. The complete location, description and reasons for historic landmark designation are more fully contained in uncodified section 2 of ordinance no. C-7892. (Ord. C-7892 § 1, 2003)." The Opdahl House won an Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in 1960.
