Building History

The A. W. Morgan & Co.'s San Francisco City Directory, September, 1852 (p. 94) indicated that Burgoyne and Company, Bankers had offices at 163 Montgomery Street, at the corner of Montgomery and Washington Streets in San Francisco, CA. At this time, most early San Francisco banks were located on or near Montgomery Street. Burgoyne and Company advertised its services in the Daily Pacific News in 01/1851. Demolition
