Building History
The City of Everett began the planning process for a new outdoor stadium to serve the Everett AquaSox minor-league baseball franchise and a United Soccer League franchise.
A Seattle Times newspaper report on the City of Everett's Outdoor Event Center in 04/2026 stated: "As of this month, the stadium's design included 5,000 seats, a premium club venue, and the ability to shift between holding baseball and soccer games. The Everett Outdoor Event Center plans to host community events, and its exterior will feature a walking loop that stretches a half-mile around the stadium. The design is around 60% done, per the city. An update shared with the council this month estimates that the project will reach the finish line in late 2027." At this time, the construction team included the architects DLR Group, Bayley Construction and the Portland project management firm, Shiels Obletz Johnsen. Construction was set to begin by 09/2027.
