Building History
The mixed-use building contained ground-floor commercial storefronts, a basement parking garage, and 100 office spaces and 376 live/work apartments on floors two through nine. It aimed to become an incubator for high-tech businesses in what was called the "Silicon Beach" are of Los Angeles. Its owner, the Amidi Group of Redwood City, CA, also owned the large office building across the street at 1010 Wilshire Boulevard.
