Overview

Architect Henry Charles Burge (1911-1997) participated in the planning of the Rancho Monterey housing tract in Monterey Park, CA, c. 1955. Burge had previously worked on the Ben Hur Estates (Whittier) and Irvine Terrace (Newport Beach) tracts previously during the early 1950s. Burge also assisted on the expansion of the Pueblo Del Rio public housing development in 1953 and 1955.
