In 1890, the four-floor Webster House hotel operated at 217 North Monroe Street in Spokane, WA.

Building History

In 1890, Charles A. Webster managed the Webster House hotel. It advertised that it had "electric lights, electric bells and baths." (See R.L. Polk and Company's Spokane, Washington, City Directory, 1890, p. 497.)

Building Notes

The Webster House contained an unusual Second Empire-influenced mansard tower on its roof.

Demolition

The Webster House hotel was razed. In 2025, the Golden Rule Brake Shop operated at this location.
