Overview

In 1899, the Alliance Insurance Company maintained its main San Francisco office at 416-418 California Street, in the city's Financial District. It was flanked by the Liverpool and London and Globe Insurance Company Building at 420-422 California and the landmark Bank of California Building #1 at 400-404 California.
