The Queen of All Saints Catholic School stood on the northwest corner of Almond and Grant Streets.

Overview

This one-story, K-8 school stood opposite the Queen of All Saints Church #2, completed five years after this elementary facility opened in 1948.

Building History

Architect John Clarence Felciano designed the Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, admitted 250 kindergarten through sixth-grade students on 09/13/1948. Felciano worked with the building contractor, J.W. McNeil. As noted by the Queen Anne Catholic School website in 2025: "The one-story concrete building consists of four classrooms, a kindergarten, library, nurse’s room and principal’s office. Four additional classrooms will be added later." (See Queen Anne Catholic School.org, "Queen of All Saints School: History," accessed 05/06/2025.)

Alteration

In 1950, an addition that accommodated 50 more students opened. It widened the school-age coverage from kindergarten to eighth grade. (See Queen Anne Catholic School.org, "Queen of All Saints School: History," accessed 05/06/2025.)
