Building History
Constructed on a steep hillside, previously thought to be an unbuildable site, this 2,419-square-foot residence cost $150,000 to erect in 1982. Like many houses designed during the 1970s and 1980s, the house owed its forma vocabulary to the influential work of Moore Lyndon Turnbull Walker and Joseph Esherick in San Francisco, and had a floorplan arrayed on various levels, rather than using just walls to enclose spaces.
