Building History
Spokane architect Albert Held designed Spokane's Knickerbocker Apartment Building in an H-plan, enabling all rooms to obtain light from two courtyards. The buillding had an up-t0-date Beaux-Arts Classical style exterior and was considered one of Spokane's most posh apartment houses when completed in 1911.
