Overview

This location of the Bank of Spokane Falls in the Cannon Block predated its better-known home in the "Marble Block," completed in 1893. Unfortunately, Cannon's Bank of Spokane went bankrupt on 06/05/1893, and did not occupy its new building for long.

Building History

Formed in 1879, A.M. Cannon's Bank of Spokane Falls operated in the Cannon Building on Mill Street in Spokane, WA, in 1890. (See Bank of Spokane Falls advertisement, Spokane Chronicle, 12/30/1890, p. 4.)
