Building History
John F. Kennedy High School in the Granada Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles was the last, new high school built during the 1960s-1970s building boom for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). Then next brand-new building erected by the LAUSD would be the Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet School in Lincoln Heights in 1990.
