Building History

The Los Angeles architect Saul Harris Brown (1896-1956) designed this Streamline Moderne residence for a hilly lot in the city's architecturally rich Silver Lake neighborhood. Composed on three levels, it was finished in 1938.

Building Notes

In 2023, this residence contained five bedrooms and three baths occupying a 7,501-square-foot lot. A detached, two-car garage was set below the main house on a hill above.

Alteration

Gregory Ain made subsequent alterations and added a landscape design to the property.

In more recent years, the firm of Escher GuneWardena renovated the dwelling.
