Building History
A construction notice in the San Francisco Call and Post newspaper in 02/1900 said: “Charles Mayer (owner) with Val Franz (contractor), architects Salfield & Kohlberg, mill and iron work, tiling, hardware, glazing, tinning, lathing, plastering, etc., for a three-story frame building (flats) on S. Line of Fulton street, 192:6 W of Webster, S 137:6 by W 27:6; $5470.
