Building History

The Lyon's Brewing Company was established in 1862, and operated a brewery in Hayward, CA, until 1910. It was sold to Oakland's Golden West Brewing Company in that year and operated for four years at this site. A sign out front of the brewery encouraged locals to Drink "Golden Glow Ale."
