Overview
The Blalock Apartments was one of the earliest apartment buildings in Spokane. R.L. Polk and Company's Spokane City Directory, 1901, (p. 847) listed four: The Blalock, The Lindelle (southeast corner of Riverside Avenue and Washington Street), Metropole Apartments (northwest corner Howard Street and 2nd Avenue) and The Montvale (southwest corner 1st Avenue and Monroe Street).
