Overview
The mixed-use Opera Plaza complex contained apartments, stores, restaurants, and offices when completed in 1982. The architect John Carl Warnecke, who had offices in San Francisco, New York and other cities by the 1970s, designed the self-contained project, encompassing an entire city block.
