Building History

A 10/16/1901 article in the Seattle Daily Times reviewed recent work by the Fehren-Marvin Company. One project illustrated in this article were two three-floor flats located at 9th Avenue and Olive Way. The article said of them: "Two apartment houses owned by George Buxman are also shown. These are on Ninth avenue and Olive street. Each building contains six flats, every room of which is light. The houses cost $18,000." (See "Real Estate and Building News: New Houses Illustrated," Seattle Daily Times, 10/16/1901, p. 21.)
