Building History

The Shiels Building #2 stood at 32 O'Farrell Street in 1899. Charles H. Shiels, who managed a real estate company at 324 Bush Street, likely owned this building at the time. The Shiels Estate Company, operated by E. Peterson, secretary, also operated at 324 Bush. (See Crocker-Langley Directory of San Francisco, CA, 1899, p. 1574.)
