Building History
The United Warehouse Company owned the Oriental Dock located at Railroad Avenue and Virginia Street on the Seattle Waterfront in 1907. The dock measured 404 feet long and accessed water 32 feet deep at low spring tides. That same year, United Warehouse also owned the Oriental Warehouse (Railroad Avenue and Lenora Street), Readman Warehouse (801-803-805-807-809 1st Avenue South), Washington Cold Storage Warehouse, (Railroad Avenue and Virginia Street), and the Occidental Warehouse (Railroad Avenue and Lenora Street).
