A science building addition was planned in 1937. The Los Angeles Times stated: "Work is to start shortly on a $120,000 science building at the Chaffey Union High School site, Ontario. Harry L. Pierce is the architect. The building is to be two stories and basement and will be of reinforced concrete construction.
