Building History

Seattle architect Joseph S. Coté designed a model small house for the Seattle Starnewspaper with a number of variations based on the location of a furnace either on the first floor or in a basement. It was illustrated on the newspaper's real estate and homes page. (See "Plan Your Dream Home within Your Budget," Seattle Star 06/09/1937, p. 9.)
