Overview

This school established by the US Government in 1892 on an eighty-acre parcel in what is now Perris, CA. American Indian school children living in the Tule River Agency south to San Diego County were boarded here between 1892 and 1901. Due to a paucity of water, the school was relocated to Riverside, CA, in 1901. The last students moved to the new Riverside school in 12/1904.
