In 1900, George N. Gilson (born 04/01/1860 in NY-d. 01/20/1906 in Seattle, WA) served as a King County Commissioner representing the First District. At the same time, he was also Chairman of the Board of Commissioners. He lived at 116 Aloha Street in 1900. (See Polk's Seattle Directory Company's Seattle City Directory, 1900, p. 441.) He wed Florence E. Hickman (born 01/24/1866 in CA-d. 01/28/1935 in Seattle, WA) on 09/04/1890 in Seattle, WA. He received building permits to erect two speculative houses at 2712 and 2716 Fourth Avenue. The Seattle Daily Times reported: "George N.
