Overview

William and Nicolasa Workman constructed this adobe residence in what became the City of Industry, CA, in about 1842.

Alteration

The Los Angeles architect Ezra F. Kysor (1834-1907) designed alterations to the exterior in 1868-1872. As such, this would have been one of Kysor's earliest jobs in Los Angeles, if it began in 1868, the year he arrived from San Jose, CA.
