Building History
Oregon State University purchased this residence in 1984, enlarging and remodeling it for institutional use. It housed the Physical Plant Expansion/Physical Plant Office between 1984 and 1989 and was named for Richard Alton Adams (1905-1972), Oregon State's Director of Physical Plant (1947-1969) and Director of Physical Planning and Construction (1969-1971). He heavily influenced the design of the Post-World War II Oregon State College/University Campus.
In 2023, it served as a facility shared by the University Relations, Parking, and Marketing Departments.
