Building History

Mrs. H.P. White commissioned Seattle architect George Bolotin to design this 11-unit apartment house on the eastern edge of the Seattle's Magnolia neighborhood. The Seattle Times mentioned its construction in an article of 03/31/1957: "Mrs. H.P. White will be the owner of an 11-unit apartment house at 2154 Thorndyke Av. That building, also by Bolotin, is estimated to cost $60,000." (See "Money Flows to Apartment Contracts," Seattle Times, 03/31/1957, p, 25.)
