Building History

One of the best known of Ellwood's beach-side houses, notable for the starkness of its two garages facing the Malibu Beach Road; designed in 1955 and erected in 1956-1957. Jerrold E. Lomax was noted only as an "associate" on this house, although he was, in fact, the principal designer. Interior furnishings were designed by Craig Ellwood Associates.
